About
Old North Knoxville is one of the premier historic neighborhoods in Knoxville!
Old North Knoxville is located just north of Knoxville's downtown area. This historic neighborhood exhibits period architecture from the 19th century and into the early 20th. Ornate Victorian styles such as Queen Anne or Eastlake homes neighbor modest but attractive craftsman houses. During the 1980s, preservationists restored these iconic homes to their former glory.
The community is also home to several very affordable restaurants, breweries, and other entertainment venues, making Old North Knoxville the ultimate date night out without digging too deeply into the wallet.
Old North Knoxville consists of Central Street, Broadway, and Woodland Avenue, as well as the area east of Broadway bordered by Cecil Avenue, Sixth Avenue, Glenwood Avenue, and Broadway.
